Guided Whistler Day Hiking Trips
Hike the wilderness that surrounds Whistler. A very short drive out of the Village accesses some of the most hiking friendly treeline and alpine regions in Western Canada. We will take care of all logistics related to your experience. Transport, trail food and drinks are options we can organize, so you only need to get your boots on and pack out the door.
Our Toyota 4x4 truck can be used to access rougher roads or get on a helicopter and fly to more remote locations.
Choose an easy pace, or get aerobic and crank it up into a full output trip. Make it a half day trip and be back for a 1 p.m. lunch, or go for the whole day and really cover ground. There are routes that will satisfy everyone and we have decades of experience to help you choose.
Some common day trips near Whistler are Rainbow Mountain and Sproatt Mountain, the Metal Dome and Brandywine area, and Mt. Brew. North of Whistler (for full day trips) we go to the Duffy Lake area and the ridge lines around Pemberton. Blanca Lake, Sky Pilot area and the Stawamus Chief are a few of the accessible hikes in the Sqauamish area. Garibaldi Park (accessible from Whistler Blackcomb and 4 road locations) offers a world of day trips. These are just a few of the common hiking lines - there are many more routes!

What's included:
All the guided hiking you can take! For groups of up to 6 people. We supply and carry all the regular guiding related communication (satellite phone and VHF radio) and emergency management equipment. We will also organize (for an additional cost) transportation out of Whistler and food/drink for the trail.
What you bring:
Boots, clothes, and maybe hiking poles. DSK Guiding will provide a comprehensive gear list and personal coaching to assist in making good choices to help create a very light backpack and a comfortable trip.
Our Cancellation Policy is different for all trips. DSK Guiding wants to give you opportunity and freedom to change plans. However, organizing and running trips does involve our financial commitment. We will always strive to fill a vacated trip placement and provide a 95% refund (less any banking related fees, 5% held to cover administrative costs). Your happiness with any of our services is most important
We reserve the right to cancel or change a booking or trip at any time before start date with a 100% refund (less any banking related administrative fees) to the customer. DSK Guiding cannot be held accountable for any expenses incurred due to trip cancellations or changes. We recommend you consider purchasing 3rd party trip cancellation insurance to protect yourself from unforeseeable issues.

Time of purchase until 24 hours before the trip’s start time: fully refunded (less any banking related administrative fees, 5% held to cover administrative costs).
Less than 24 hours before the start time of a trip: No refund guaranteed.
